Norbriggs Primary School

Where Every Child Counts

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is of paramount importance to the the staff of Norbriggs Primary School and is our first consideration in any planning.

Rigorous checks are made on all staff and visitors to the school who have access to our children; DBS forms and other forms of identification are needed before anyone is allowed unsupervised access to our children.

All staff are given regular training and updates, and we have just introduced a new electronic safeguarding system so that all concerns can be logged in a very effective way.

Our designated safeguarding lead is Paul Scragg, with Mrs Hurst providing support

Our Safeguarding Governor is Elaine Tidd. Further information about our procedures can be given on request.

Please view our Safeguarding Policy under Key Information, School Policies.

If you are concerned that a child is suffering or at risk of significant harm call 01629 533190 (Derbyshire County Council), or the Police on 101.
