Towers, Tunnels and Turrets
We have had so much fun this half term making towers from different materials in our topic 'Towers, Tunnels and Turrets'.
First we had some free play making towers from our construction toys and discussed what makes a good tower.
Then using paper cups we had a competition to make the tallest tower.
Next using junk modelling we tried to make a strong tower and had a competition to see whose tower could hold the most books!
After that we were challenged with making a sturdy tower with classroom objects, that could withstand a strong wind!
